Akima Facilities Operations (AFO) is looking for a Supply Clerk to work in Fort Stewart, Georgia. The Supply Clerk receives, inspects, inventories, loads, unloads, segregates, stores, issues, delivers, and turns-in Organizational/Direct Support and Installation supplies and equipment. This role operates Unit or Direct Support Logistics Information Systems, prepares all Unit/DS supply documents, and maintains automated Supply Systems for accounting of supplies and equipment. The position also coordinates supply activities, posts transactions to property books, and determines methods for relief from responsibility for lost, damaged, or destroyed supply items. Basic knowledge of MS Office suite is required, and the role may involve operating forklifts and powered hand tools. The employee must be capable of lifting, carrying, pushing, and pulling very heavy parts and loads up to 70 pounds.
