About the position

As a Subcontract Administrator at Lockheed Martin, you will be responsible for administering contracts related to metallic build-to-print airframe components and assemblies for various aircraft platforms. This role involves managing the procurement process, including source selection, cost/price analysis, negotiations, and documentation, while ensuring compliance with company policies and procedures. You will also develop subcontract specifications, prepare bid packages, and maintain supplier relationships to support operational needs.

Responsibilities

  • Administer contracts for metallic build-to-print airframe components and assemblies.
  • Handle source selection, cost/price analysis, negotiations, and documentation.
  • Place and maintain purchase orders for specialized materials, equipment, and services.
  • Develop subcontract specifications, work statements, and terms and conditions.
  • Prepare bid packages, conduct bidders' conferences, and evaluate proposals.
  • Negotiate subcontract provisions and select or recommend subcontractors.
  • Write and administer subcontract awards, including managing modifications.
  • Procure build-to-print parts and assemblies from engineering drawings for various aircraft programs.
  • Source and purchase machinery, equipment, tooling, raw materials, and services essential for operations.
  • Develop innovative solutions to complex procurement challenges.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree from an accredited college in a related discipline.
  • Experience in supply chain management, procurement or purchasing.

Nice-to-haves

  • Experience with Microsoft Office Suite: Outlook, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
  • Experience with JDA/MTO, drawings/technical data, manufacturing processes, tools, root cause analysis, process improvement techniques and cost analysis.
  • Experience working with and managing supplier relationships.
  • Experience with an Aeronautics product, quality assurance and/or manufacturing process.
  • Experience in finance, cost/price analysis, schedule analysis, budgeting, and negotiations.
  • Data Analysis experience.
  • Experience with Lean and continuous improvement tools.
  • Negotiation and technical experience, related to product and supply chain.
