About the position

The Supply Chain Specialist at PeaceHealth is responsible for providing material handling support, including the receipt, distribution, and inventory management of supplies and equipment. This full-time position requires efficient work in a fast-paced environment, ensuring proper handling and documentation of supplies while maintaining inventory accuracy.

Responsibilities

• Assists with requisitioning, stocking, receipt, and distribution of supplies.
• Inspects and verifies quantities upon receipt of supplies.
• Processes documentation on receipt and distribution of supplies according to operational procedures and policies.
• Records linen usage by department as appropriate.
• Monitors supply inventory, rotates products, and ensures proper labeling and storage of equipment and supplies.
• Prepares supplies, linen, and equipment for distribution and delivers them to departments.
• Fills daily requisitions and determines delivery methods such as truck or courier.
• Coordinates repairs, loaner services, and rental equipment to minimize delays in services to departments.

Requirements

• Computer experience is required.
• Valid driver's license is required.
• Ability to work efficiently and responsibly in a fast-paced environment with multiple demands and minimum supervision is required.
• Ability to frequently lift up to 50 lbs and occasionally manipulate up to 100 lbs with assistance is required.
• Ability to perform occasional bending, stooping, climbing, and reaching is required.
