About the position

The Supply Chain Planner and Analyst role at On Line Design, Inc. is focused on supporting the overall supply chain from customer demand to timely shipments. This position involves analyzing and executing actions to ensure timely material planning and availability, while coordinating with manufacturing needs. The role also includes developing and analyzing key information to drive clarity and opportunities for improvement across the supply chain, working closely with various teams including sales, manufacturing, and finance.

Responsibilities

  • Develop processes and systems that increase effectiveness and efficiency of the supply chain in alignment with company goals.
  • Produce periodic management reports on supply chain activity and KPIs, including inventory management and controls.
  • Interpret demand and prepare purchase instructions to suppliers, focusing on cost, delivery terms, and alignment of order and delivery dates.
  • Set and monitor MRP planning criteria, inventory positions, and status of supply and costs.
  • Support the development and execution of purchasing strategies and policies.
  • Remain current on business and supply chain trends and expand the effective use of new processes and tools.
  • Ensure compliance with Food and Occupational Safety policies and procedures.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in supply chain management or business (e.g., finance, administration, etc.)
  • Related work experience in supply chain and analysis.
  • Working experience with MRP/ERP systems and processes.
  • Proficient use of Microsoft Office and ERP/MRP systems.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to gather and analyze data and report findings effectively.
  • Excellent communication and reporting skills.
