About the position

The Supply Chain Planner at Pepsi Bottling Ventures is responsible for preparing efficient production schedules, coordinating logistics for contract order fulfillment, and performing data analysis to ensure adequate supply at corporate and individual plant levels. This role requires effective communication and collaboration with various business units, including operations, marketing, IT, and sales, to monitor and deploy inventory effectively.

Responsibilities

• Prepares efficient production schedules using multiple software tools.
• Coordinates scheduling and logistics for contract order fulfillment.
• Completes data analysis, required reports, and metrics.
• Orders and ships materials to and from outside sources including other bottlers.
• Interfaces effectively with other business units and cross-functional areas.
• Monitors and deploys full goods inventories daily to ensure adequate supply.
• Completes appropriate reports and performs inventory analysis.
• Other duties as assigned.

Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree in Supply Chain Planning, Operations, Economics, Logistics or related field, or eight years equivalent work experience.
• Three years operations management experience preferred.
• Knowledge of inventory practices and principles required.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office applications.
• Excellent oral and written communication skills required.
• Strong interpersonal skills and ability to relate to others in a cross-functional environment.
• Excellent customer service and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work as a team member and handle multiple priorities under stress.
