About the position

We are immediately hiring a Supply Chain Operations Associate in Warren, MI for our Supply Chain Solutions division. This position is essential in ensuring that our operations run smoothly and efficiently, particularly for our General Motors LLP accounts. As a Supply Chain Operations Associate, you will be responsible for various operational functions, including independent decision-making related to material availability and inventory control. You will serve as the main point of contact for all suppliers, providing direction regarding ship schedule requirements and containment plans when schedules fall behind. This role requires you to track critical parts and develop and execute containment plans to ensure there are no interruptions or downtime in the manufacturing line. You will also coordinate alternative sources of material and manage requests for spot buys as necessary.
