About The Position

The Boeing Defense, Space & Security (BDS) organization is seeking an Mid-Level Supply Chain Management Analyst (Level 3) join our dynamic team in Layton, UT. This position incorporates change and planning decisions to arrive at optimal solutions. It applies Supply Chain Management (SCM) methodologies to ensure coordination in the global supply chain. The role analyzes complex material requirements, verifies and incorporates Bills of Material/schedules into a production plan, and determines part number attributes. The analyst initiates, coordinates, and authorizes the release of orders by evaluating system requirements and resource availability, ensuring on-time delivery, and documenting and resolving order delinquencies. The position also reports schedule adherence issues, develops and controls inventory plans, optimizes inventory levels, analyzes and dispositions excess inventories, and initiates audits. Additionally, the analyst develops and creates schedules for products and services, assists in developing estimates and schedules for new business proposals, and implements and maintains process improvements by analyzing and establishing best practices for materials management to improve SCM performance. This position works under general direction and is expected to be 100% onsite.

Requirements

  • 3+ year of experience supporting Operations, Materials Management and/or Supply Chain functions in a production environment
  • 3+ years’ experience supporting deliverables for both internal/external customers across multiple disciplines
  • 3+ year of experience with Material Requirements Planning, including the use of Compass Contract or a similar MRP system
  • 3+ year of experience using all the following Microsoft Office Applications (Word, Excel and PowerPoint)
  • Ability to obtain a U.S. Security Clearance for which the U.S. Government requires U.S. Citizenship.
  • A final post-start U.S. Secret clearance is required.

Nice To Haves

  • Bachelor’s degree or higher
  • 3+ years of experience with CMES system (or equivalent non-conformance management system)
  • Experience in Production Control and Material Management processes
