About the position

The Supply Chain Coordinator plays a vital role in managing relationships with suppliers and ensuring the timely ordering, production, and shipping of products. This position is integral to fostering collaboration between internal teams and external suppliers, ultimately delivering exceptional service to customers. The coordinator will handle documentation, track shipments, and communicate effectively with various stakeholders to maintain project timelines and quality standards.

Responsibilities

• Place purchase orders with suppliers.
• Ensure all documentation is correct including 2D prints, 3D models, quality assurance plans, etc.
• Perform status updates with suppliers and factories to ensure projects are on-time.
• Report status updates or any issues or delays to the Sales and Operations team.
• Coordinate with Engineering and Quality teams to address technical issues and opportunities for improvement reported by supplier teams.
• Set up shipments with supplier factories and carriers, including international shipments by Ocean, Air, and Air Cargo.
• Ensure all documentation, customs forms, and filings are properly completed.
• Track all inbound shipments and production status across all factory suppliers.
• Communicate revision changes from Engineering/Quality to supplier teams and update orders as appropriate.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree
• 3+ years Supply Chain/Logistics Experience
• Experience working with international shipments in a technical manufacturing or engineering environment.

Nice-to-haves

• Experience processing international shipments by Ocean and Air, working with customs filings, specifically with China, Taiwan, Mexico, and USA.
• Familiarity with SOS Inventor.
