About the position

The Supply Chain Associate I at Excellos, Incorporated is responsible for various essential functions within the Supply Chain department, focusing on materials management. This role involves inventory management, packaging, shipping of customer orders, and receiving finished goods. The position adheres to safety, GMP, and quality protocols, ensuring compliance with established procedures.

Responsibilities

• Perform cross functional support: material handling, special shipment of goods and samples, inventory control, inventory issues, material transfers, etc.
• Receive, verify, store, and distribute incoming deliveries.
• Maintain inventory control of conforming and non-conforming materials.
• Assist with the shipment of cell-based samples and products adhering to good manufacturing practices (GMP) guidelines.
• Drive and pick up starting materials from suppliers using company van.
• Maintain associated records for raw materials, intermediates, disposables, consumables, reagents, and controlled, regulated materials.
• Assist with Purchase to Sale Orders (Run Rate).
• Perform pickups of Run Rates, leukopaks, platelets and cord blood units from suppliers.
• Assist with improvement opportunities and other tasks performed by the Supply Chain department when needed.
• Assist with maintaining SOPs and policies to support department activities.
• Participate in department meetings and educational programs.

Requirements

• Associate's degree or equivalent combination of education, training and/or experience.
• 1+ years' experience with inventory management, shipping and receiving.
• Previous experience in research, cell therapy, or biotech preferred.
• Must have a valid CDL and good driving record.

Nice-to-haves

• Experience in a laboratory environment.
• Knowledge of good manufacturing practices (GMP).
• Familiarity with biohazard precautions.
