About the position

As a Supervisory Management & Program Analyst at NAVSUP Weapon Systems Support, you will play a critical role in analyzing administrative problems and recommending executable solutions to the Vice Commander. Your responsibilities will include developing and participating in special SES level projects, which involve creating policy and program alternatives, preparing command strategy materials, and executing initiatives aimed at enhancing command improvements. You will oversee the administrative functions of the command, ensuring that operations run smoothly and efficiently. Additionally, you will provide direct coordination with corporate operations for emergency management functions, which include emergency muster plans, alternative worksite planning, and active shooter drills. This position requires a proactive approach to problem-solving and the ability to work collaboratively with various stakeholders to achieve command objectives.

Responsibilities

  • Analyze administrative problems and recommend executable solutions to the Vice Commander.
  • Develop and participate in special SES level projects, including policy and program alternatives.
  • Prepare command strategy materials and execute initiatives to support command improvements.
  • Oversee the administrative functions of the command.
  • Coordinate with corporate operations for emergency management functions, including emergency muster plans and active shooter drills.

Requirements

  • Must be a US Citizen.
  • Must be determined suitable for federal employment.
  • Must participate in the direct deposit pay program.
  • Must obtain and maintain an interim and/or final security clearance prior to entrance on duty.
  • At least one year of specialized experience equivalent to the GS-12 level in the federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector.

Nice-to-haves

  • Experience in leading administrative projects.
  • Familiarity with Microsoft Office products for preparing high-level reports or correspondence.
