About the position

The Supervisory Management and Program Analyst position at the Department of Defense involves serving as the Division Chief of the Command Development and Engagement Office, directly reporting to the Director of the Command Action Group at DLA Energy. In this capacity, the Supervisory Management and Program Analyst will provide expert advice to leadership and directors within DLA Energy, focusing on the development of solutions to challenges related to People and Culture. This includes conducting research and interpreting policies and regulations concerning complex process management, leadership enhancement, and human development aspects of enterprise transformation initiatives. The role also requires establishing management controls and measurement instruments to evaluate program effectiveness, efficiency, and accomplishments, ensuring that the agency meets its strategic goals and objectives. The position is permanent and full-time, with a salary range of $139,395 to $181,216 per year, classified under the GS-14 pay scale. The role is based in Fort Belvoir, VA, and while it is not a remote position, it does allow for telework eligibility as determined by agency policy, requiring at least 60% in-office attendance during the workweek. The incumbent may also be expected to travel up to 25% of the time, depending on the needs of the agency.

Responsibilities

Requirements

  • Must be a U.S. citizen.
  • One year of specialized experience equivalent to the GS-13 level in federal service or equivalent in the private sector.
  • Experience evaluating programs related to change management, organizational alignment, and leadership development.
  • Researching policies and regulations concerning complex process management.
  • Developing performance standards to improve production and overall quality of work.
