About the position

The Supervisory Management and Program Analyst position at the Department of Defense involves overseeing the Service Owned Items in DLA Custody (SOIDC) Program Management Office (PMO). The role focuses on mitigating risks associated with SOIDC through active audit remediation and response, while integrating efforts with other Major Subordinate Commands. The position requires comprehensive program management, including planning, budgetary programming, and ensuring compliance with internal controls and audits.

Responsibilities

  • Serve as the Director of the Service Owned Items in DLA Custody (SOIDC) Program Management Office (PMO).
  • Mitigate risks to SOIDC through active audit remediation and response.
  • Integrate efforts with other Major Subordinate Commands (MSC).
  • Oversee all processes, internal controls, transactions, and command reviews impacting SOIDC and agency-wide audits.
  • Plan, budget, and manage programs assigned to DLA SOIDC PMO.

Requirements

  • Must be a U.S. citizen.
  • One year of specialized experience equivalent to the GS-14 level in program management and audit-related risks.
  • Experience in implementing continuous process improvement initiatives and overseeing internal controls.
  • Experience in supporting Military Services annual financial statement audits.
