The Supervisory Management and Program Analyst position within the Taxpayer Services Division of the Department of the Treasury is a critical role that involves overseeing and managing a team of employees to ensure the effective delivery of taxpayer services. As a Front Line Manager, you will be responsible for planning and organizing work to be accomplished by your subordinates, setting and adjusting short-term priorities, and preparing schedules for the completion of work. This position requires a strong focus on leadership, as you will assign work based on priorities and the capabilities of your team members, evaluate their performance, and provide guidance and support to help them succeed in their roles. In this role, you will also be tasked with interviewing candidates for positions within your unit, making recommendations for appointments, promotions, or reassignments, and addressing employee complaints and grievances. You will have the authority to implement minor disciplinary measures and recommend more serious actions when necessary. Identifying the developmental and training needs of your employees is essential, and you will be responsible for providing or arranging the necessary training to enhance their skills and performance.
