About the position
The Shift Supervisor Trainee role at CVS Health is an entry-level position designed to prepare employees for higher-level supervisory roles such as Operations Supervisor or Shift Supervisor. This short-term role involves completing basic operations and management training while learning about the CVS/pharmacy culture and customer service excellence. Successful trainees may be promoted to supervisory positions, where they will lead store staff and ensure smooth store operations in the absence of a manager.
Responsibilities
- Supervise the store's crew by assigning, directing, and following up on all activities.
- Communicate effectively with store management and crew members.
- Assist customers with questions, problems, and complaints, promoting a positive shopping experience.
- Maintain customer/patient confidentiality.
- Promote CVS customer service culture by greeting customers, offering help, and thanking them.
Requirements
- High school diploma or GED required.
- Deductive reasoning ability and analytical skills.
- Advanced communication skills.
- Computer skills.
- Ability to work a flexible schedule, including early mornings, overnight, and weekends.
