About The Position

The Supervisor X-Plant Operations is responsible for managing and monitoring the XP-Team production operation. This role involves developing plans to attract, retain, and develop employees to meet industry requirements, and participating in assessing the right personnel placement according to needs and employee qualifications. The supervisor ensures that Industrial Safety Regulations are strictly respected, guides and supports employees towards individual responsibility and self-control, and ensures the performing of the specified work package in compliance with costs, schedule, and quality specifications. Additionally, the role focuses on identifying and eliminating problems in the manufacturing process as quickly and as early as possible.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Aeronautical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, or related field and 4 years in any job title involving experience in commercial aviation.
  • In lieu of degree as stated, employer will accept 3 additional years in any job title involving experience in commercial aviation.
  • Prior experience must also include: 4 years of experience with manufacturing engineering, assembly processes, and production method in aviation.
  • 4 years of experience with AP, PEA, and OMI.
  • Decision-making from highly critical items regarding work allocation, planning, and resource allocation to more routine decisions around daily tasks.
  • Working with ISO 9001.
  • Using SAP for answering non-conformances.
  • Applying Quality and Logistics rules in aviation manufacturing.
  • Applying principles, practices, methods, and tools used in manufacturing.
  • Experience manufacturing wings and fuselage for commercial aircrafts.
  • Up to 5% international travel required for training purposes.

  • Identifying and eliminating problems, which occur in the manufacturing process, as quickly and as early as possible.
