About The Position

The Supervisor, Reagent Operations is responsible for supervising the scientists and technicians who build, test, and fill the critical components for clinical diagnostic tools in the form of urinalysis as well as perform direct labor work to ensure achievement of OTD and schedule attainment within the UA work cell. This position reports to the Manager, Operations and is part of the Reagent Operations team located in Chaska Minnesota and will be an on-site role. In this role, you will have the opportunity to: Manage and develop a team of manufacturing scientists and technicians to produce critical components to meet production demands Monitor multiple manufacturing production runs and support manufacturing nonconformance investigations, material supply issues and process improvements to meet schedule and customer demands Work within clearly defined standard operating procedures (SOPs) and/or scientific methods and adhere to quality guidelines Apply basic analytical skills to scientific methods, operational processes or data to perform clearly documented activities

Requirements

  • High school diploma with 8+ years’ experience, OR Bachelor’s degree with 5+ years’ experience, OR Master’s degree with 3+ years’ experience
  • Attention to details in activities and documentation
  • Ability to effectively communicate with co-workers
  • Basic computer skills for data management and managing laboratory processes
  • Travel infrequently, but up to 2+ weeks initially for training
  • Ability to lift, move or carry materials up to 30lb

Nice To Haves

  • Science background highly preferred
  • Multiple years of experience working in a regulated industry
  • Experience in a manufacturing environment
