Requirements

  • Supervise the flour production characteristics on all phases (maceration, milling and packing, including the reprocess); verify these processes in SAP
  • Assist and/or oversee the packing of flour in all different presentations (50 lbs., Tote bags, 22 lbs. 20lbs, Retail, Bulk) making sure that the product meets specifications
  • Make inspections of the production areas, checking all areas and equipment for cleanliness and proper performance
  • Control the time worked by its personnel
  • Prepare and verify all production reports
  • Report any electrical and mechanical malfunctions in the additives, proof sifter, packing area and mill plant to the maintenance department via Mobile Frame program
  • Maintain employee’s attendance and absence reports in payroll system
  • Maintain shift employees’ work schedules and make any corrections needed in payroll system
  • Supervise and assist in changes and repairs in production equipment
  • Distribute and organize production personnel to different jobs or special tasks for the day according to the production orders and plant needs
  • Attend weekly production meetings, special meetings and training courses required
  • Attend and supervise attendance for safety meetings for shift crew.
  • Maintain contact with Quality Assurance Department to ensure production analysis meets milling/packing specifications.
  • Cover Packing/Additives duties when required.
  • Train and delegate training for new department employees
  • Analyze and interpret information to make production process decisions
  • Realize job safety analysis for all activities done during shift
  • Supervise special activities assigned by department manager
