Requirements

Diploma Nurse or ADN from an accredited school of nursing or Graduate of an accredited School of Practical Nursing
Current Ohio RN or LPN licensure
BLS within 90 days

Nice To Haves

One (1) year charge nurse, supervisory, or management experience
ACLS

Responsibilities

Supervise clinical staff and enforce standards outlined in the Nurse/Medical Assistant job description to ensure safe, consistent patient care practices.
Coordinate clinical staffing by managing schedules, securing coverage for call-offs, supporting on-call rotations, and maintaining appropriate staffing levels through recruitment, hiring, and payroll approval.
Provide clinical leadership and guidance by answering staff questions, offering clinical supervision, and ensuring adherence to current nursing practices, policies, and patient care guidelines.
Manage operational processes by monitoring patient throughput, resolving customer service concerns, maintaining required certifications and regulatory compliance (including CLIA and staff licensure), and overseeing supply and vaccine inventory.
Facilitate communication and staff development by acting as a liaison between staff, leadership, and university partners, orienting and training new employees, maintaining staff records, and supporting performance evaluations.
