About The Position

The Primary Care & Specialty Service Nursing Supervisor coordinates and directs the overall functions of the Internal Medicine and Infectious Disease nursing departments, including the rooming, triage, and practice nurses at both the Plaza & River Campus locations. The supervisor works with administration, site coordinators, providers, other department supervisors/staff, team leads, providers, nursing staff, and community resources to render professional patient care. The supervisor also serves as a clinical expert and resource.

Requirements

Bachelor's degree in nursing required
Registered Nurse (RN) in the State of MN
Current American Heart Association (AHA) BLS Healthcare Provider card required per established policy
Ability to lead, mentor, and motivate employees to be productive and efficient
Self motivated and able to work independently as well as in a team setting with minimal supervision
Is detail oriented and provides timely follow through with minor and major assignments
Ability to manage resources and staff within budget requirements

Nice To Haves

2 years of staff supervisory experience preferred
2 years of leadership/management experience with a health care team preferred
2 years of Epic EMR in an ambulatory care setting preferred
