About the position

As a Part-Time Manager/3rd Key Holder at Claire's, you will support the Store Manager and Assistant Store Manager in achieving retail targets by driving sales and ensuring a positive shopping experience for customers. You will also be responsible for store operations in the absence of other management, including opening and closing the store, and maintaining a presentable environment.

Responsibilities

• Support the Store Manager and Assistant Store Manager in achieving retail store targets by driving sales.
• Open and close the store in the absence of other management, ensuring safe and legal trading.
• Deliver friendly and efficient customer service to enhance the shopping experience.
• Demonstrate Claire's products to customers.
• Assist customers with queries using product knowledge.
• Process store deliveries, visual merchandising, stock takes, markdowns, and promotions.
• Perform ear piercing after receiving full training.
• Ensure the store is presentable and inviting to customers.

Requirements

• Some high school education required.
• Minimum 1 year of retail experience.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Strong organizational skills.
• Basic computer skills.
• Understanding of the importance of customer service.
• Sound understanding of mathematics and strong reading comprehension skills.
• Ability to stand during scheduled shifts.
• Ability to maneuver up to 25 lbs regularly and up to 75 lbs occasionally.
• Ability to bend, stoop, reach, and climb ladders and step stools while placing merchandise and assisting customers.
• Ability to operate the POS system.
