About The Position

The Supervisor, Last Mile Operations at RXO will inspire associates to achieve maximum productivity, exhibit professionalism, and strive to be error-free. The Supervisor is responsible for overseeing the day-to-day execution of last mile operations, ensuring all delivery activities are completed safely, efficiently, and in alignment with company standards. This role provides direct leadership to operational teams, including drivers and support staff, while maintaining full accountability for performance, service levels, and customer satisfaction within the market. The Supervisor plays a critical role in driving operational discipline by enforcing standard operating procedures, ensuring compliance with all safety and delivery requirements, and maintaining accurate documentation across key processes. This includes ownership of claims management, timely resolution of issues, and proactive oversight of any aging items. Additionally, the Supervisor is responsible for maintaining consistent field visibility through ride-behinds, identifying performance gaps, and coaching team members to improve execution and service quality. Success in this role requires strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills. The Supervisor must proactively manage capacity, identify potential risks before they impact operations, and communicate effectively with both internal teams and leadership. This position is expected to hold teams accountable, ensure consistent adherence to processes, and drive continuous improvement across all aspects of the operation. A successful Supervisor operates with a high level of ownership and accountability, maintains clear visibility into daily performance, and consistently delivers results by aligning team execution with company standards and expectations.

Requirements

  • 2 years of experience in a supervisory role
  • 5 years of experience in logistics and/or transportation
  • Experience with Microsoft Office
