About the position

The Learning Development and Delivery team at Cardinal Health is responsible for creating, implementing, and evaluating learning solutions that align with business strategies to enhance employee development and organizational capability. This role involves analyzing learning needs, developing training curricula, and managing both internal and external training resources to ensure effective learning experiences for employees.

Responsibilities

  • Serve as a Learning Business Partner for specified clients, aligning with business objectives and conducting needs analysis.
  • Propose training solutions that align with business objectives, supporting multiple clients with increasing scope and complexity.
  • Design program curriculum, including IDD lite skills and curriculum design skills.
  • Implement programs using project management processes and skills.
  • Develop training metrics during program development to demonstrate training effectiveness.
  • Provide ongoing updates and communication, including quarterly business reviews (QBRs) with training metrics and insights.
  • Share industry innovations and opportunities while interacting with site leaders, Directors, and VPs.
  • Collaborate with SMEs and other L&D departments to meet goals, including Solutions Hub, Learning Operations, and HRBPs.
  • Facilitate training programs as needed, including virtual facilitation and production, and develop Learning Ambassadors for facilitation.
  • Maintain awareness of L&D solutions and products, such as Professional Development and Leadership Development.
  • Supervise a team of Sr. Specialists focused on virtual facilitation and IDD lite, coaching and developing them for optimal results.
  • Manage the training delivery calendar and scheduling for the Sr. Specialist team, identifying mitigation plans as needed.
  • Observe and provide feedback to Sr. Specialists on learning delivery and discuss classroom evaluation results for continuous improvement.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in a related field or equivalent work experience preferred.
  • 4+ years of experience in a related field preferred.
  • Prior experience supervising others preferred.
  • Experience in business partnering and conducting needs analysis.
  • Experience in learning development & delivery and program planning.
  • Demonstrated ability to work in a fast-paced, collaborative environment.
  • Highly motivated, creative, self-sufficient, and strong work ethic.
  • Strong interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills; able to communicate effectively with personnel at various levels globally.
