Requirements

  • High School Diploma or equivalent.
  • Three years’ experience in a manufacturing or distribution environment is preferred.
  • Previous supervisor experience preferred.
  • Strong computer skills (Microsoft Suite: Outlook, Excel, and Word).
  • Strong communication skills (oral, written - fluent in English).
  • Strong interpersonal skills.
  • Strong basic math skills.
  • High attention to detail and quality.
  • Able to flourish in a fast-paced environment.
  • Demonstrated flexibility and the ability to work with others in a positive manner.
  • Ability to handle multiple tasks.
  • Ability to work overtime, and/or weekends if needed.

Responsibilities

  • Supervising assigned associates in the Distribution Center on the 1st shift to achieve maximum production, quality, and cost control.
  • Monitoring the flow of production.
  • Providing training and counseling.
  • Resolving issues.
  • Creating production reports.
  • Tracking attendance.
  • Ensuring safety standards, quality of work, and company policies are maintained.
  • Processing assigned orders within the shipping requirements.
  • Supporting all internal and external customers by meeting all service requirements and expectations.
  • Communicating with all levels of personnel.
  • Being trained on several different tasks in the department to fill in where needed.
  • Bridging the gap between organizational targets and daily operations.
  • Empowering frontline workers.
  • Ensuring on-time, accurate deliveries.
  • Driving process improvements in safety, productivity, and order quality.
  • Achieving operational excellence and a positive work environment by focusing on driving operational efficiency and metrics, building a strong people-first culture, and fostering a commitment to Safety.
  • Communicating job expectations and coaching/counseling direct reports.
