About the position

The Clinical Staff Supervisor coordinates and manages the clinical support staff and workflows within the oncology infusion clinic. This role is integral to the clinic leadership team, ensuring that patient care services are delivered efficiently and safely while addressing the physical, psychological, and spiritual needs of patients. The supervisor oversees clinical staff, promotes quality improvement, and ensures compliance with clinic policies and procedures.

Responsibilities

  • Coordinate and manage clinical support staff and workflows within the clinic.
  • Oversee the care provided by clinical support staff.
  • Initiate efforts to improve the quality and skill levels of clinical staff members.
  • Lead clinical staff to ensure efficient, safe, and timely patient care services.
  • Ensure compliance with established clinic policies and procedures.

Requirements

  • Graduation from an accredited school of nursing.
  • Oregon Registered Nurse License upon hire.
  • National Provider BLS - American Heart Association upon hire.
  • 3 years of direct patient care experience, preferably in an ambulatory setting.
  • 1 year of supervisory experience, preferably in an ambulatory setting.
  • Clinical experience in triage and patient assessment principles.
  • Experience in delegation of nursing responsibilities to licensed and unlicensed personnel.

Nice-to-haves

  • Bachelor's Degree in Nursing or related field.
