About the position

The Clinic Nursing and Quality Supervisor plays a crucial role in the clinic leadership team by providing professional nursing expertise and ensuring high standards of clinical practice. This position oversees clinical staff performance, implements best practices, and ensures compliance with state and federal regulations while delivering safe and efficient patient care. The supervisor also provides direct patient care and coordinates activities with the healthcare team, focusing on the holistic needs of patients.

Responsibilities

  • Oversee clinical staff performance and provide coaching and mentoring.
  • Develop and implement clinical best practices.
  • Ensure compliance with state and federal regulations regarding clinical quality.
  • Provide direct patient care according to the individualized needs of patients.
  • Coordinate patient care activities with other healthcare team members.
  • Analyze patient data considering various aspects of patient health and development.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree in Nursing or an Associate Nursing degree with a minimum of 3 years recent RN experience.
  • Graduation from an accredited nursing school.
  • National Provider BLS certification from the American Heart Association upon hire.
  • Oregon Registered Nurse License upon hire.
  • Washington Registered Nurse License upon hire for locations in Washington.
  • Completion of an ONS approved Chemotherapy course upon hire and maintain certification.
  • Board Certified Lactation Consultant (IBCLC) upon hire and maintain certification.
  • 3 years RN experience managing complex patients or completion of RN Ambulatory Residency program.
  • Experience providing clinical education to clinical support staff in an outpatient/ambulatory care environment.

Nice-to-haves

  • Experience working in an ambulatory setting.
  • 3 years of progressive leadership experience in clinical staff education and performance evaluation.
  • 3 years of experience providing patient education.
