About the position

The Supervisor, Behavioral Health is responsible for overseeing and guiding Behavioral Health Specialists while providing individualized therapy in a remote telehealth setting. This role includes urgent mental health crisis intervention, chronic condition counseling, and connecting patients with community resources to address their social needs. The position supports the Washington State program and requires licensure in WA State as LICSW, LMHC, LMFT, or as a Psychiatric Nurse RN.

Responsibilities

• Supervise and guide Behavioral Health Specialists.
• Provide active individualized therapy in a remote telehealth setting.
• Conduct urgent mental health crisis intervention and chronic condition counseling.
• Manage staff scheduling and oversee the operation of the Behavioral Health staff.
• Measure performance of the Behavioral Health staff and provide training in crisis intervention and prevention.
• Conduct telehealth assessments and document interventions in the EPIC software system.
• Participate in internal quality and workflow enhancement projects.

Requirements

• Master's Degree in Social Work.
• 3 - 5 years of experience in crisis management and clinical settings.
• Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) or Licensed Independent Social Worker (LISW) certification.
• Ability to practice in the state of residency and cross state licensed.
• Passed the Association of Social Work Board (ASWB) exam.

Nice-to-haves

• 3+ years of clinical and administrative experience in Behavioral Healthcare management.
• Experience in discharge planning, home health, or transitional care.
• Knowledge of NCQA requirements related to behavioral health conditions.
• Telehealth experience.
• Bilingual skills.
