Beacon College offers summer programming events, College Edge and Summer for Success, which provide students who learn differently with the skills, confidence, and preparation needed to successfully transition to college. During these programs, students build self-awareness, problem-solving skills, and strategies to navigate college life successfully through integrated academic, residential, and social programming. The Summer Programs Health Coordinator oversees the physical health and medical well-being of students across both summer programs. This role provides direct student care, manages routine and complex medical needs, and leads medical response efforts in both minor health concerns and emergency situations. The Health Coordinator is a key member of the student intervention team and partners closely with program leadership, families, and healthcare providers to ensure student safety, continuity of care, and regulatory compliance throughout the program term.
