About The Position

Apogee Architectural Metals is seeking individuals for full-time summer production positions. This role involves handling aluminum material within a high-quality architectural finishing process, which may include loading/unloading aluminum on/off the line or packaging/crating materials for shipment. Specific roles could be in Material Handling and Warehouse operations. The position offers a pay rate of $19.50/hour with a $2.00/hour premium for the 2nd shift. Production team members on an 8-hour shift may be required to work overtime when production demands it. Apogee has been a leader in architectural products and services for over 70 years, specializing in glass and aluminum window, storefront, and curtainwall systems, as well as high-performance glass and acrylic products for framing and display markets.

Requirements

Must be 18 years of age.
Must pass a pre-employment drug screen and physical.
Minimum of a 10-week commitment.
Ability to be on feet and constantly moving (bending, walking, reaching, squatting).
Ability to lift, push, and carry up to 75 Pounds.
Willingness to work hard as part of a team.
Must have excellent attendance and performance records.
Must be able to work in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

Handle aluminum material within an architectural finishing process.
Load or unload aluminum on/off the line.
Package/crate materials for shipment to customers.
Perform Material Handling and Warehouse duties.
