Summer Pharmacy Intern

About the position

This position is for a pharmacy intern at Walgreens, where the intern will gain practical experience in a retail pharmacy environment. The role requires flexibility in scheduling, including the possibility of evening and weekend hours. The intern will be expected to assist in various pharmacy operations, ensuring that prescriptions are filled accurately and efficiently.

Requirements

• Must be enrolled in a school of Pharmacy program.
• Must be fluent in reading, writing, and speaking English (Except in Puerto Rico).
• Requires willingness to work flexible schedule, including evening and weekend hours.

Nice-to-haves

• Prefer six months of experience in a retail environment.
• Prefer to have prior work experience with Walgreens.
• Prefer good math skills to fill prescriptions accurately, including counting, measuring and weighing.
