About the position
WHNT News 19 is excited to welcome internships this summer semester. The College Internship Program is designed to provide college students of Junior, Senior, and graduate level class the opportunity to explore careers in the broadcasting and digital media industry while providing meaningful and practical business experience which will generate college credit.
Responsibilities
- General work in the newsroom
- Assisting with reporting
- Supporting producing tasks
- Engaging in digital journalism
- Participating in editing/production
- Contributing to meteorology-related tasks
- Involvement in sports reporting/producing
Requirements
- Must be a Junior, Senior, or Graduate student by the Summer 2025 term
- Must receive college or university credit for participating in the program
- Compliance with all school requirements and WHNT requirements for internship credit
