About the position

The Summer Intern position at Hawaiian Electric offers students an opportunity to gain practical experience in Data Science, Analytics, Statistics, or Industrial Engineering. Responsibilities

• Collaborate closely with a dedicated mentor to research and execute an objective-based project.
• Participate in cross-functional activities to learn about the company and its operations.
• Present project deliverables in an open forum at the end of the internship.

Requirements

• Currently enrolled student at an accredited college/university.
• Studying in the area of Data Science, Analytics, Statistics, or Industrial Engineering.
• Strong work ethic, initiative, and motivation.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
