About the position
The Logistics Coordinator at KE Camps plays a vital role in ensuring a safe and enjoyable camp experience for elementary-aged children. This seasonal position involves active participation in camp activities, assisting the Camp Director with daily tasks, and managing the logistics of camper transfers to and from club-related programming. The coordinator is responsible for fostering relationships with campers and ensuring their physical and emotional well-being throughout the camp day.
Responsibilities
- Work with a group of campers to provide a fun, safe, and exciting camp experience.
- Cooperate with fellow Counselors and the Camp Director.
- Greet families and campers upon arrival.
- Support the Camp Director in establishing rules and emergency procedures with campers.
- Participate in all camp activities.
- Supervise daily swim time in a hands-on manner from within the water.
- Help out where needed and lead activities when asked by the Camp Director.
- Work with the club to produce a roster of campers enrolled in club-provided programming.
- Check-in with parents daily regarding their camper's scheduled private lesson or junior programming sessions.
- Develop a logistical plan for getting campers to and from on-site club-provided programming throughout the day.
- Complete necessary paperwork documenting camper transference throughout the day.
- Complete other duties as assigned.
Requirements
- CPR Certification or willingness to become certified before the summer begins.
- First Aid Certification or willingness to become certified before the summer begins.
- Experience working with children.
- Strong organizational skills.
- Strong time management skills.
