About the position
As a Summer Day Camp Counselor at KE Camps, you will play a vital role in providing a fun, safe, and engaging camp experience for elementary-aged children. This seasonal position involves active participation in camp activities, supporting the Camp Director, and ensuring the well-being of campers throughout the day. You will help children build friendships, try new activities, and develop important life skills while fostering a positive and memorable environment.
Responsibilities
- Work with a group of campers to provide a fun, safe, and exciting camp experience.
- Cooperate with fellow Counselors and the Camp Director.
- Greet families and campers upon arrival.
- Support the Camp Director in establishing rules and emergency procedures with campers.
- Participate in all camp activities.
- Supervise daily swim time in a hands-on manner from within the water.
- Help out where needed and lead activities when asked by the Camp Director.
- Complete other duties as assigned.
Requirements
- CPR Certification or willingness to become certified before the summer begins.
- First Aid Certification or willingness to become certified before the summer begins.
- Experience working with children.
- Leadership qualities.

- Prior experience in a camp setting.
