Responsibilities
- Assist campers with disabilities in various activities such as arts and crafts and modified sports.
- Ensure the safety and well-being of campers during their stay.
- Engage in swimming activities with campers in the pool.
- Create a sensory-inclusive environment for campers.
- Provide companionship and support to campers as a caregiver and advocate.
Requirements
- Must pass a background check for employment as a caregiver for individuals with disabilities.
- Must be 18 years or older.
- Must have a high school diploma, GED, or other certificate of completion.
Nice-to-haves
- Experience working with people with developmental disabilities (1 year preferred).
- First Aid Certification (preferred).
- CPR Certification (preferred).
