About the position
The Summer 2025 - Underwriting - Undergraduate Intern position at United Concordia Dental offers students the opportunity to gain practical experience in underwriting tasks and project-based assignments. Responsibilities
- Provide services to the day-to-day operating objectives of the assigned area.
- Participate in projects and programs appropriate to the needs of the assigned area.
- Conduct research and reporting including recommendations or proposals for action.
- Communicate effectively while interacting directly with colleagues and clientele.
- Undertake and participate in projects designed to develop professional skills and expertise.
- Perform miscellaneous job-related duties as assigned.
Requirements
- Full or part-time enrollment in an accredited college or university baccalaureate program.
- Open to Junior and Sophomore level students pursuing an undergraduate degree.
Nice-to-haves
- Pursuing a degree in mathematics, actuarial science, finance, business, computer science, or other quantitative analysis discipline.
- Ability to use computer systems, electronic tools, and applications.
- Knowledge of Excel.
- Ability to manage several simultaneous priorities.
- Strong attention to detail.
