About the position

The Osseo Area School District is seeking licensed teachers for the Summer 2025 GAME ON Targeted Services Enrichment Instructor position at North View Middle School. This program is designed for students entering grades 6-8 from Brooklyn Middle School (BMS) and North View Middle School (NVMS). The instructors will lead summer scholars in engaging activities that promote academic development through high-interest and creative lessons. The program aims to provide a structured yet informal environment where students can connect socially with staff and peers, helping them to acclimate to middle school expectations before the fall semester begins.

Responsibilities

• Promote effective use of time, materials and set standards for student accountability.
• Develop, document, and implement daily lesson plans to meet Targeted Services expectations and programming requirements.
• Actively engage and supervise students during the scope of the program (classroom instruction, field trips, enrichment opportunities, lunchroom, and transitions).
• Keep student related/program related records, such as attendance, programs, schedules, and others as determined by the Program Facilitator and Administration.
• Be knowledgeable of the overall mission of the district and the policies and procedures of the individual program.
• Complete required attendance and continuous learning plan paperwork for the program.
• Help support daily enrichment and potential summer field trips throughout the program.

Requirements

• Licensed teacher status.
• Ability to develop and implement lesson plans.
• Experience in engaging and supervising students.
