About the position
This position is for a Neurophysiology Neurologist in Houston, joining a collaborative group of healthcare professionals including neurologists, a neuropsychologist, and a psychiatrist. The role involves working in a well-equipped hospital with a dedicated Neuroscience and Spine center, providing comprehensive care to patients with neurological conditions.
Responsibilities
- Provide neurological assessments and diagnoses.
- Conduct EMG and EEG tests as needed.
- Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team including neurosurgeons and orthopedic surgeons.
- Manage patient care and treatment plans.
- Participate in the development of clinical protocols and guidelines.
Requirements
- MD or DO degree with specialization in Neurology.
- Board certification in Neurology.
- Experience in neurophysiology and performing EMG/EEG procedures.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
