About the position
The Point Pleasant School District is accepting applications for Substitute Teachers. Please complete the application in its entirety. You will receive an email notification with a date and time choice to meet with an administrator in one of our schools. Upon completion of the interview and with the administrator's approval, you will then be forwarded the packet needed to be approved by the Board of Education.
Responsibilities
- Provide instruction and support to students in a substitute teacher capacity
- Follow the district's policies and procedures
- Maintain a positive and professional attitude in the classroom
- Communicate effectively with students, parents, and administrators
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Ability to pass a background check
- Ability to work flexible hours, including mornings, afternoons, and weekends
- Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information
