About The Position

Regina Caeli Academy (www.rcahybrid.org) is seeking a part-time Substitute Teacher to teach in a classical and Catholic classroom for up to 14 hours per week, as needed. This role involves stepping in when regular staff are unavailable due to illness, with the flexibility to decline assignments. No formal teaching certification or experience is required, as comprehensive training will be provided. The ideal candidate will have a deep love for the Catholic faith, be able to sign an Oath of Fidelity to the Catholic Church, and possess strong communication skills, good organization, and timeliness. A traditional view of the student/teacher relationship is also desired. All staff undergo a background check and RCA Safe Child training.

Requirements

• Must be able to sign an Oath of Fidelity to the Catholic Church.
• Must have a deep love for the Catholic faith.

• Must be living the Catholic faith day-to-day, including having received all the sacraments appropriate to his or her state in life.
• Must complete a background check.
• Must complete RCA Safe Child training prior to teaching.

Responsibilities

• Teach in a classical and Catholic classroom setting.
• Provide instruction and classroom management according to RCA standards.
• Follow provided curriculum and grading guidelines.
• Be available to teach as needed when staff are out sick.
• Attend one mandatory training day prior to working in the classroom.
