About the position
The Food Service Worker will work closely with the Head Cook to prepare main and alternate menu items for the school and special events as needed. This role includes assisting with cleanup and maintaining a safe and clean food service environment to comply with federal, state, local, and departmental requirements. Effective communication and teamwork with the Head Cook, food service staff, students, and district staff are essential for success in this position.
Responsibilities
- Assist the Head Cook in preparing menu items for the school and special events.
- Help maintain a clean and safe food service environment.
- Communicate effectively with the Head Cook and other staff members.
- Participate in cleanup activities after meal service.
Requirements
