About the position

The Studio Manager/Membership Presales Manager at Body Fit Training (BFT) is responsible for driving membership sales during the presale phase of a new fitness studio in West Hollywood. This role focuses on converting digital marketing leads into memberships, executing grassroots marketing strategies, and building strong relationships with prospective and current members to foster community engagement and retention.

Responsibilities

  • Set the studio's daily, weekly, and monthly presale membership goals and meet these targets.
  • Overcome founding membership objections and diligently follow up with prospects.
  • Generate leads through grassroots marketing, external prospecting, and community networking.
  • Convert leads from digital marketing, B2B partnerships, and member referrals.
  • Identify areas of opportunity in the sales process and execute on these opportunities.
  • Display proficiency in ClubReady, including revenue and attendance reports.
  • Independently make decisions related to high-level customer service situations.
  • Collect outstanding membership dues and resolve membership billing errors.
  • Enforce BFT's policies, procedures, and brand standards.
  • Strategically manage marketing campaigns to deliver lead goals for the studio.
  • Assist ownership in hiring other team members such as sales associates and coaches.
  • Perform any other duties as assigned.

Requirements

  • 2+ years of fitness membership sales or similar recurring membership services experience.
  • Demonstrated success in sales in a presales environment.
  • Confident in generating personal sales and converting digital leads over the phone.
  • Experience executing grassroots marketing campaigns.
  • Excellent written and oral communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to excel and adapt in a dynamic environment.
  • Ability to recognize areas of improvement and make changes using good judgment.
  • An affinity and passion for fitness.
  • Organized and proficient in data management, prioritization, and meeting deadlines.
  • Proficiency with computers, CRMs, POS, and other studio management software.
  • Ability to manage and grow multiple revenue streams including memberships, package sales, and retail.
