Staff designated at Dickinson Wright PLLC (the “Firm”) as Student Interns will join a supportive working environment with a firm having a national platform while handling sophisticated matters for some of the nation’s largest and most innovative companies.
Requirements

- Provide excellent references
- Meet Minimum Performance Standards as provided in the Attorney Manual
Responsibilities
- Research all aspects of a matter, including relevant state law, case law and other legal texts
- Draft legal documents, including reports, contracts, pleadings, etc.
- Provide legal advice and counsel to clients
- Represent clients at meetings, hearings and/or trials
- Act as a business representative and working with the business to ensure that legal matters are handled professionally and efficiently
- With regard to litigation, assist with discovery, attend depositions, work on trial preparation, jury selection and attend trial
- Work under the supervision of senior attorneys
