About The Position

Arcadis is seeking a Structural Engineer to join their Climate Adaptation and Water Management Team. This role involves delivering engineering and consulting services for projects focused on shoreline stability, flood risk reduction, and waterfront infrastructure resilience. The engineer will play a key role in conducting structural analysis, design, and construction efforts for climate adaptation projects, including seismic risk reduction, flood mitigation, and infrastructure resilience initiatives.

Requirements

5 years of progressive related experience.
Bachelor's degree in related discipline.
PE License.

Nice To Haves

Master's degree in Structural Engineering from a reputable institution.
Progressive experience in structural engineering, with a focus on infrastructure projects related to water management, flood control, and seismic resilience.
Proficiency in structural analysis and design software such as STAAD, MathCAD, AutoCAD, and Revit.

Responsibilities

Conduct structural analysis, design, and construction efforts for climate adaptation projects, including seismic risk reduction, flood mitigation, and infrastructure resilience initiatives.
Contribute to a diverse range of projects, contributing to design development, evaluation of solutions, and construction implementation.
Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to deliver innovative and sustainable structural solutions aligned with industry codes and standards.
Support project budgets, schedules, and deliverables to ensure successful project completion within established timelines.
Support business development, mentorship, and thought leadership as interested.
Some travel may be required for project site visits, client meetings, safety audits, or general planning purposes depending on project staffing needs.
