About the position
The Structural Engineer Internship at Jezerinac Group, PLLC is designed for students seeking hands-on experience in structural engineering. Interns will contribute to meaningful projects while gaining exposure to various aspects of the field, including 3-D modeling, structural analysis, and design coordination. This internship offers a supportive learning environment aimed at accelerating personal and professional growth.
Responsibilities
- Generate 3-D Building Information Models (BIM) and 3-D Structural Analysis and Design Models using advanced software programs.
- Perform computer-aided and hand-calculated structural analysis, design, and detailing of steel, concrete, masonry, and timber systems.
- Coordinate introductory structural design with other design professionals, including architects and engineers of various disciplines.
- Prepare Construction Documents within the Autodesk REVIT environment.
- Review structural submittals and basic Requests for Information (RFIs).
- Conduct construction observation and special inspections on Jezerinac Group and other projects.
Requirements
- Currently enrolled in a structural engineering or related program.
- Familiarity with structural engineering principles and practices.
- Basic knowledge of Autodesk REVIT and other structural design software.

- Experience with 3-D modeling software.
- Strong communication skills for coordination with design professionals.
