About the position

Siemens Industry Software is a leading global software company dedicated to the world of computer aided design, 3D modeling and simulation, helping innovative global manufacturers design better products, faster. The company is currently recruiting students for their summer 2025 Strategic Student Program (SSP), which offers intern positions that allow students to apply their education to solve real-world problems. The position is a full-time, hybrid role based in Fremont, CA.

Responsibilities

  • Code Qualify Assurance - Fixing code qualify issues checked and reported by several code qualify analysis tools.
  • Tool Usage Test - Review and practice design verification tool usage flows, including prototyping, simulation, emulation, and formal verification.
  • Code Development - Contribute to our software product by developing top-qualify code in well-defined projects.
  • Deep-dive Technical Discussion - Brainstorm with fellow colleagues on challenging technical subjects faced by EDA today.

Requirements

  • Currently enrolled as a university student.
  • Minimum 3.0 GPA.
  • Currently junior year or senior year student pursuing a Bachelor's degree, or a Master's or PhD student, in Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, or Math.
  • Strong C++ skill required.
  • Passionate, driven, and proactive.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Desire to continuously improve and learn about new areas.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Inspires collaboration.

Nice-to-haves

  • Preferred graduation year: 2026 for Bachelors (or currently enrolled in Master's or PhD).
