Responsibilities
- Develop category strategies for direct material spend.
- Source electrical and mechanical materials such as heaters, motors, controls, and bearings.
- Run sourcing projects across multiple stakeholders.
- Negotiate multi-million dollar contracts.
- Support multiple manufacturing plants with sourcing needs.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in a relevant field.
- 5+ years of experience in strategic sourcing projects across direct material categories.
- Experience supporting multiple manufacturing plants.
- Strong negotiation skills for multi-million dollar contracts.
- Proficient in Microsoft Excel, Access, and PowerPoint.
- Demonstrated problem-solving skills, including structuring problems and performing detailed analysis.
- Strong communication and influencing skills.
