Are you a consulting professional who thrives on turning complex data into game-changing strategies? Do you get excited about building models that drive real business outcomes? We're looking for a brilliant analytical mind who can design and execute data-driven strategies that help our financial advisory partners achieve predictable, sustained growth. This role is ideal for a former McKinsey, BCG, or Bain consultant (or equivalent) or a recent MBA graduate or advanced degree in finance, economics, or related field or close to graduation with 3–5 years of consulting experience. Reporting to Business Development, you'll combine strategic thinking, quantitative modeling, and partner-facing leadership to deliver actionable, high-confidence recommendations that transform how our partners grow their businesses. You'll also play an active role in identifying and closing new partnership opportunities, bringing the same analytical rigor to prospecting and outbound sales motion as you do to partner strategy. This is an in-person role requiring 4 days per week in our Cambridge, MA office. You'll transform complex data into practical growth plans, ensuring partners have clear strategies to improve performance and expand budgets while having fun building something amazing. We believe work should be engaging and intellectually stimulating - you'll be solving challenging problems that directly impact our partners' success while working with cutting-edge data and analytics in the financial advisory space.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree required; MBA or advanced degree in finance, economics, or related field strongly preferred.
  • 3–5 years at a top-tier consulting firm (McKinsey, BCG, Bain, or equivalent) with a proven track record in strategy and analytics, OR recent graduate or near graduation with consulting experience.
  • Strong quantitative analysis and modeling skills with experience in financial forecasting, performance analytics, and translating complex data into actionable insights.
  • Proven ability to develop comprehensive strategies from data and market insights; thrives on solving complex analytical challenges.
  • Exceptional ability to engage with customers, build trust, and present compelling strategic narratives to executive audiences.
  • Comfortable in fast-paced, dynamic environments; detail-oriented, results-driven and eager to contribute beyond defined responsibilities in a collaborative, flat startup environment.
  • Comfortable initiating outbound conversations with senior decision-makers at financial advisory firms; able to translate analytical insights into a compelling value proposition that opens doors and builds pipeline.

Nice To Haves

  • Background in fintech, marketplaces, performance-based marketing, or startup environments
  • Experience with advanced statistical modeling, machine learning, or predictive analytics
  • Deep understanding of financial advisory business models and growth drivers
  • Comfort with modern analytics tools, databases, and business intelligence platforms
  • Currently pursuing or recently completed MBA with focus on strategy, finance, or analytics
  • Demonstrated track record of sourcing, developing, or closing partnerships — whether in consulting, fintech, or an adjacent field

Responsibilities

  • Build monthly projections, model outcomes, and run sensitivity tests to assess success probabilities.
  • Develop financial models and analytical frameworks to uncover growth opportunities.
  • Turn market and performance data into actionable recommendations that drive partner growth.
  • Identify potential challenges early and design mitigation strategies through analytics.
  • Design scalable analytics-driven models for partner success.
  • Convert analytical insights into executable growth plans tailored to each partner.
  • Build trust and maintain strong relationships with partners through expert guidance.
  • Track KPIs to identify trends, detect risks early, and adjust strategies in real time.
  • Deliver compelling presentations translating complex analysis to strategic narratives.
  • Work with technical, business, and leadership teams to ensure strategic alignment.
  • Proactively identify, prospect, and engage high-fit wealth management firms through outbound sales motion — sourcing leads, crafting tailored outreach, and advancing conversations from first contact to signed partnership.
  • Manage a personal pipeline of prospective partners, maintaining accurate forecasting and stage progression in coordination with the Director of Business Development.
