About the position

The Strategic Account Executive role at Axon is a key leadership position within the Enterprise team, focusing on building and managing commercial partnerships in various verticals outside of public safety. This role involves selling Axon's products and services to early customers in sectors such as retail, healthcare, and critical infrastructure, while also collaborating with the General Manager to design the go-to-market strategy for the Enterprise segment. The position is quota-carrying and requires a creative thinker capable of navigating complex sales environments and maintaining senior-level relationships.

Responsibilities

  • Own and build our earliest and largest sales to customers in new verticals at Axon
  • Manage and grow revenue and market share to achieve Axon's strategic objectives
  • Build business plans with internal and external stakeholders to drive Axon adoption
  • Execute sales training and provide marketing support
  • Develop and maintain client and partner relationships to ultimately drive revenue growth

Requirements

  • At least 7+ years working in sales and/or channel for a technology company, preferably in software, SaaS, or cloud
  • Track record of sales and channel sales success
  • Experience with executive level engagements and communication
  • Experience with large VARs and Systems Integrators
  • Startup experience preferred
  • Open to travel 50%
