About The Position

As a key member of the Growth & Creative Services team, the Strategic Communications Manager plays a critical role in shaping and delivering firmwide messaging. This position partners closely with leadership to drive strategic marketing initiatives, ensure consistency of communications, and elevate the firm’s visibility through high-quality, results-driven content and campaigns. The role also supports the broader marketing function through marketing plan development, proposal writing and editing, staff mentorship, networking engagement, and participation in special projects. Flexible hybrid schedule with weekly in-office presence of 1 to 2 days. Writing samples required: Please attach 3 to 5 writing samples that demonstrate the breadth of your writing capabilities. Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in marketing, communications, journalism, or related field of study; or a combination of education and directly related work experience.
  • 5+ years of experience working with corporate communications.
  • Progressively responsible experience providing marketing support to multiple constituents in a professional services setting as well as managing multiple projects simultaneously.

Responsibilities

  • Lead and oversee marketing projects from inception to completion, ensuring they are delivered on time, within scope, and within budget.
  • External collaboration/development for niche growth and visibility (PR research/pitching).
  • Provide guidance to others in the firm regarding written communications to ensure consistency of message and professional presentation of materials.
  • Oversee the communications function of the Growth & Creative services department through the following responsibilities:
  • Draft, coordinate, and format/edit proposals to prospective clients: drafting content, team review, tracking, editing, finalizing, and delivery.
  • Monitor the quality of the product as it goes out the door.
  • Ghostwriting and/or editing: articles, blog posts, press releases, event information, copy for social media campaigns, storyboards/scripts for short-form videos, and other items as they present themselves
  • Draft marketing collateral materials, including: biographies (both print and website), statements of qualifications, information sheets, other related material, write/edit/produce/distribute both company newsletters, content/social media calendar planning
  • On a yearly basis, create a strategic communications plan and then oversee/implement.
  • Leads project development from concept through execution, translating strategic objectives into clearly defined scopes, timelines, and deliverables while coordinating cross‑functional contributors to ensure on‑time, high‑quality outcomes.
  • Meet monthly with CN niche leaders and service lines to drive marketing strategy and tactics.
  • On a yearly basis, assist the Growth & Creative Services Director in creating and executing comprehensive marketing plans for CN niches and service lines (approximately 14) to promote our services and enhance our brand presence.
  • Work closely with the creative, digital, and business development/research teams to ensure cohesive and effective marketing campaigns.
  • Monitor and report on the effectiveness of marketing campaigns and proposals using relevant metrics and KPIs
  • On a yearly basis, assist the Growth & Creative Services Director on creating niche marketing budgets for the following year.
  • Meet regularly with the Growth & Creative Services Director.
  • Complete special projects and other duties assigned by the Growth & Creative Services Director to support the needs of the organization.
