About the position

The Strategic Client Executive is a strategic account management role that will have significant interaction with Sr. VP level executives within the assigned account base. This role works with clients to build account strategies aligned with the assigned industry.

Responsibilities

  • Cultivate and expand client relationships with Sr. VP level executives.
  • Gain a sound understanding of clients' business challenges and goals by conducting effective client engagements.
  • Lead the business planning process in partnership with the client, with a specific focus on account-level planning.
  • Build a 12-18 month roadmap at the account level aligned with the industry roadmap.
  • Drive profitable growth in assigned accounts through valuable customer engagements, contract retention and expansion, and the addition of services.
  • Proactively engage and align additional sales, operations, and SME resources with client initiatives.
  • Bring thought leadership to the client engagement and use collaboration to build trust, confidence, and influence.
  • Clearly articulate Ricoh's position in the industry and value to the client.
  • Build relationships inside the organization, focusing on account retention and expansion, and manage day-to-day sales activities.
  • Strive to understand and manage the customer's approval process through sponsors.
  • Meet or exceed revenue and gross profit expectations.
  • Leverage CRM to enter/track all sales data and activities daily.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in a related field.
  • 10+ years of account management experience.
  • Experience working with executive-level leaders in F1000 companies.
  • Experience growing services.
